I will always and forever credit I AM TEEN STRONG for helping save my daughter’s life.  For years my husband and I struggled with our daughter as she suffered from depression and other issues and no matter what we did or what we tried nothing seemed to get through to her and she continued to sink with no relief for her sadness in sight.

For years she struggled with school and friendships.  Feeling more desperate by the day, we looked everywhere for answers.  When we contacted, I AM TEEN STRONG, they realized our situation was critical and connected us very quickly with a family therapist who was able to speak with my husband and myself in a very timely manner.  It was through this therapist that my husband and I quickly (and not so quickly!) learned that we, in fact, needed to change our approach and expectations before we could even hope to help our daughter.

I am beyond happy to report that a year later our relationship with our daughter has COMPLETELY turned around and the girl who could barely get out of bed actually took herself to Switzerland to celebrate her new attitude about life!  She is now enrolled in a school that makes sense for her and looks forward to every day with her new classmates and her new positive attitude.  It was only when we changed could we see what our child REALLY needed from us.

Without I AM TEEN STRONG we NEVER would have had this monumental breakthrough and I shudder to think where our child would be now.  We thank I AM TEEN STRONG for taking the time and offering the resources we so desperately needed.  We will be forever grateful.
