To see where we’re going, it’s helpful to look where we’ve been. This year continues to bring nothing but surprises and challenges for many of us. And often, in these times we find the true gold. We whittle down to the basics and find what makes us tick, what we want, and perhaps sometimes more importantly what we DON’T want.
As we look over this last year, we’ve examined habits and seasons of life, diet and affirmations, self-confidence, understanding each other better, and how distance learning has changed everything, all while ebbing and flowing through the changes of Coronavirus.
January – This 30 Minute Habit Will Change Your Life – Habits make up our day-to-day lives, what effects do they have on our minds and bodies?
February – What ‘Season’ Are You In? – What season of life are you in? What are your needs?
March – How to Make the Most of Quarantine – What in the what do we do about the changes happening in the world and in our own homes and neighborhoods?
April – How to Connect with Your Body During Shelter in Place – How can we stay connected when so much around us is in a constant state of change?
May – Self-Love and Sweatpants – How best to feel love and acceptance when, as social beings, we are no longer interacting with others in the ways, and frequency, we used to?
June – Body Positivity and Diet – How are these related?
July – 50 Affirmations For A Better Life – Using affirmations to further develop our confidence and belief in ourselves.
August – Giving Yourself Grace in times Like These – It’s not always (or often) a straight line. Giving ourselves grace no matter where we are on the journey.
September – How to Start Understanding Each Other – What if we are more similar than we know? What if this fact could help us understand each other in a new way? What could that bring to the world?
October – Can You Be Body Positive and Want to Lose Weight? – Can these two things coexist? The answer may surprise you.
November – How Has Distance Learning Changed Body Positivity? – The change of all changes. How are you handling it? You may be developing skills and don’t even realize it.
Looking it over, reflecting, I think I’ve learned we need to be talking more, in general. About our similarities and differences, our struggles, how we feel, and ultimately what we want for our bodies and this life. You can love yourself and also want to change, these two dreams can exist within you simultaneously. How can we make the very most of it and love ourselves all the way through?
